Eyedropper Tool
The eyedropper tool allows you to magnify a portion of the screen to pick out that perfect color. Right-click on any color to add to palette, copy color to clipboard, add to favorites, and set as program background color.

Modify Hex Value
Use this to modify the Hex value of the currently selected color or input a new value.

Custom Scrollbar Generator
Internet Explorer 5.5 adds 8 new CSS properties for controlling the color of your scrollbars. Any scrollbar on your page can be customized visually using ColorShade. When you are finished the code can be copied directly to your clipboard and pasted into your webpage. (Internet Explorer only, other browsers will see the standard scrollbar)

	Main Toolbar
	Main Toolbar Controls The Main Toolbar contains buttons that allow you to create a new palette, open an existing palette, save your current palette, open the Web Preview window, Vector Image Preview window, Scrollbar Preview window, Eyedropper tool, and make the program always stay on top.

	Color Choosers
	RGB Selector allows you to pick a starting color in RGB mode. Color Sprectrum allows you to pick a color from the full color spectrum. Websafe Palette contains all of the websafe colors. Matching Palette Selector generates 8 colors that match your current color. Sliders allow you to fine-tune the colors. You can then add these colors to your current palette or a new one. Color Designer allows you to tweak the exact properties of a color in RGB, HSV, and CMY modes.

	Color Information
	Color Information shows the RGB, HSV, CMY, CMYK, Hex, and Web values of the color your mouse is hovering over.

	Color History
	This area shows the most recent colors your have used.

Harmonies
The Harmonies Sidebar shows you the complements, split complements, analogous, triad, and tetrad of your current color.

Favorites
The Favorites sidebar allows you to permanently store up to 8 different colors.

Shades
The Shades sidebar shows you 20 varying shades of the current color.

Common
The Common sidebar holds the basic colors of the color wheel.

	Color Palette
	The Color Palette is where all of your selected colors are stored. The Color Palette is used to: -Save your colors for later use -Export a selection of colors to be used in another program (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop) -Copy colors to the Web Preview, Scrollbar Preview, and Vector Image Preview areas The Color Palette is also a good way to copy the HTML value of your colors to the clipboard. You can access all of these features by right-clicking on a color. Right Click Menu 1. Copy color value directly to clipboard 2. Adjust color 3. Add to favorites (8 favorites available) 4. Modify Hex Value 5. Erase color 6. Set as background color of your workspace You can right click on any color to get this menu. It is also available when you use the eyedropper tool.

	Color Palette Toolbar
	The Color Palette Toolbar allows you to tweak and adjust the current Color Palette. Unlimited Color Palettes are available so you can mix and match colors to perfection. 1. Undo/Redo 2. Lightness/Darkness 3. Saturate/Desaturate 4. Clone current palette 5. Erase palette 6. Save palette

	Color Values
	This area gives the RGB, Hex, and Web values of the current color. You can copy the text in these boxes to paste into your project.
